Arthur Raymond Page, age 93, of St. Paul, Minnesota, has played his last hand of bridge. Art died on April 15th, 2023 in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Art grew up in St. Charles, Minnesota. He received his medical degree from the University of Minnesota in 1956. He worked as a research scientist focusing on pediatric immunology for the University of Minnesota and after retiring from the U, worked as an allergist for Aspen Medical, Bandana Square. Art and his wife, Anne, spent their winters in Puerto Vallarta where they enjoyed a rich social life and playing contract bridge. He was one of the founding members of the Puerto Vallarta Bridge Club, and for many years played a critical role in its management and operation. Art was an avid and indiscriminate reader. He enjoyed gin martinis, Julia Child, Miracle Whip and his family, although perhaps not in that particular order. He will be remembered as an exceptional father, a loving husband and a generous host. Art is survived by his wife, Anne Gohlike Bergman, his children, Mary Page (Mark Paul), David Page (Annie Sarnecki), Ann Page (Maury Fontaine), stepdaughter Sara Krasny and his brother, Robert Page of Alexandria, MN. Preceded in death by wives Charlotte Mohlke Page and Pat Fish Page. A memorial service will be held later this year. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Planned Parenthood and the Nature Conservancy.
